Continuing Student Enrolment Information
Master of eLearning Students
HELI's Student Services team process the enrolment of eLearning students each study period. Following eLearning students will then be able to view their units of enrolment and class details via their Student Portal. Students will receive an email advising their enrolment has been completed.

Master of Research Students
Online Enrolment Opens: from 10am AEDT Thursday 12 December 2024
Online Enrolment Closes: 5pm AEDT Friday 14 February 2025
Students undertaking Research courses are required to process their enrolment into each study period via their Student Portal before the close of enrolment. Student Services will send enrolment information via email in advance of enrolment for each study period and students will receive an email advising enrolment has opened on the day.
Outstanding Fees and AIM Completion
Students who have an outstanding fee balance will not be permitted to re-enrol or view results. If full payment has not been made Student Portal accounts will be/have been sanctioned. Students who have not enrolled by the enrolment closing date risk of cancellation of their enrolment. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for payments to be processed by the relevant banks and the sanction removed.

Student Portal sanctions are in place for students who have not successfully completed the Academic Integrity Module (AIM). If you haven't completed the AIM with a score of 10 out of 10 please make sure that you do before enrolment opens and closes.

Holiday Letters
Master of eLearning Students
Holiday letters for the break between Trimester 3, 2024 and Trimester 1, 2025 will be sent via email to Master of eLearning students, you do not have to lodge an enquiry.

Master of Research Students
​Should a Master of Research student is traveling overseas at the end of Trimester 3, 2024 and would like a Holiday Letter for the break between Trimesters 3, 2024 and 1, 2025, please lodge a request by lodging an enquiry with Student Services.
Reduced or Increased Study Load Applications for Trimester 1, 2025
The Student Portal requires students to enrol in a full-time load, students may then apply to reduce or increase their study loads via lodging an online application for a Reduced Study Load and Overload. The online application form will be accessible via the Student Hub Forms library/page after results for Trimester 3, 2024 have been released.

5pm AEDT on Friday 14 February 2025.
Applications to Reduce your study load close:
5pm AEDT on Friday 28 February 2025.
Trimester 3, 2024 Completing Students
Results for Trimester 3, 2024 will be released by 7 February 2025. Student Services will begin creating completion documents after this date. Completion documentation will be prioritised in order of visa expiry dates. Completion documentation cannot be issued to graduands who have outstanding fees, library items on loan or have not applied for or recorded their Unique Student Identifier in their Student Portal.
Completing students do not need to lodge requests for completion documents.
If your visa expires before or on 7 February 2025, please notify Student Services as soon as possible by lodging an enquiry.
Leave of Absence for Compassionate or Compelling Circumstances
Leave of Absence applications for students who have demonstrated compassionate or compelling circumstances should be submitted as soon as possible upon the opening of enrolment and must be submitted by 5pm AEDT on Friday 7 February 2025 to ensure processing time in advance of the close of enrolment. Please refer to the Compassionate and Compelling Circumstances Guidelines If these circumstances apply to you, please submit a Leave of Absence application which is available via the Student Hub Forms library/page.
