Undertaking or embarking independent research is a powerful step in your academic journey. It’s a chance to explore what genuinely interests you, develop your voice as a researcher, and build confidence in your ability to investigate complex questions.
While working on your thesis can sometimes feel overwhelming, remember that this process is designed to help you grow - personally, academically, and professionally. Each article you read, each challenge you navigate, and each insight you uncover moves you closer to becoming an expert in your field.

Connect with your RES921 Unit Coordinator on the day

Access the dedicated Research Lab computers with SPSS (quantitative research) and MAXQDA (qualitative research) software

Access the library, a librarian and learning support onsite

Touch base with Student Services in person, to receive any support or guidance you may need
